All body parts are accounted for. Today Jenny & I took the MP to have the propane tank filled and to empty the holding tanks. We parked it in the CFG lot. Our plan was to fly home tomorrow. The weather has turned ugly and the flight we were trying to get on has been cancelled. Oh well. I drove to Seth & Courtney's house this afternoon to visit with my Granddaughters. When I arrived, Caroline was asleep on the couch.

Flat Rock Ranch day 3
I rode the 'Upper Loop' today. It's the longest, most technical, trail. 99.9% of it is rideable, but there are some rock ledges and other obstacles that are fit for mountain goats not mountain bikes. I walk, or carry, my bike over those short stretches. I did 27 miles today. I am trying to ride all the trails and I have a GPS on my handlebar that draws a line to indicate where I have been. If I come to an intersection I will turn so as to draw a new line. I leave for San Antonio tomorrow. Jenny is dog sitting her father's dog (Lucky) while he is in Mexico on a business trip.

GoPro camera
Jenny got me a wearable camera for Christmas. It's called a GoPro. You can put it on your head, your arm, your handlebars etc. I played with it some during my rides today. This is a pic of a chest harness mount. I rode 25 miles in 5 hours, had no flats, broke no ribs and only lost a little blood. There is only one more long trail I haven't ridden. That's my goal tomorrow.

Apocalyptic plane disaster
A smiling, Captain Nuria Everett, when asked why the plane crashed said, "when the plane was manufactured, inferior materials were used, over time, after many firm landings flaws in its design were exacerbated to the point that structural failure was inevitable, and the tape holding it together lost It's sticky."

New year day at the zoo
The San Antonio zoo is open 365 days a year. You would think New Years day would be pretty slow at the zoo. It wasn't. There were only a few obviously hung over people there and weirdly, I knew them all. After the zoo we rode the famous Breckenridge park train. Jenny & I figured it had been 50 years since we had taken that train ride.
