48th anniversary

I'm a little late posting this. Our anniversary was the 18th. It's hard to believe we began our relationship in high school. We are beginning to think about our 50th. We've got 2 years to figure something out.

Aggie Fest--Beaufort

Arriving in Habersham, we picked up a picnic lunch and had a picnic at the river retreat. Can't really remember what happened the rest of that day for some reason. The next day we visited Port Royal and then historic Beaufort. The afternoon was spent in an air conditioned van driving around town getting a tour. Oh, and we did go by the Kazoo Factory for some reason that I feel sure the Grand Parents who purchased Kazoos will regret. Jerry & Diane & John & Jeanne left for home this morning. They're driving. Bill and Donna fly out tomorrow. We had some time today so we went out to Hunting Island hoping to climb the Lighthouse but it has been deemed unsafe. Lindsay & Jamie are coming tomorrow for the weekend so normalcy will not have returned.

Aggie Fest Continued

After the day at Fort Pulaski we decided we needed a beach day. We invaded the beach on day 2. We visited some restaurants afterwards, drank some beer, threw some Frisbee, played a couple of rounds of golf. (cards) and learned some Mexican words of the day, but we had to close up shop and head to Beaufort.

Aggie fest 2022

The crowd got together this year on the East coast. We rented a house on Tybee island, which is in Georgia, not far from Savannah. Our first day we went to visit Fort Pulaski which is on an island near here. We started this adventure on a weekend so the island was packed with beach goers. We are here for 3 nights and then we move to Beaufort for a couple of days.
