Weekend at Chester State Park

We wanted to do a camping trip before we got too deep into fall. This SP has a lake and 2 excellent Disc Golf courses. Jamie brought his 2 room tent so he slept outdoors with the kids. Seth joined us on Saturday morning. His kids had other plans. After Seth arrived we did a hike, played 9 holes of disc golf, ate lunch, paddled 4 canoes around the lake, visited a playground, played 18 holes of disc golf, had dinner, drank, and it wasn't long after that, that I collapsed. It was an action packed day. It is now Sunday afternoon and Jenny and I have removed all evidence of the weekend chaos. We return to Habersham tomorrow.

Aggie mini reunion 2021

This year we met at John & Jean Begnaud's lake house in kingsland TX on Lake LBJ. There was some gluttony and alot of alcohol consumption. We all enjoyed ourselves. These get togethers are always fun and this one was no exception. We were delighted to have had Bill Carroll in attendance. He's still working so he can't always break free. We leave San Antonio for home tomorrow. It's back to the salt mine of retirement.
