Big Cypress National Preserve

We are on the northern edge of the Everglades. We couldn't get into the park because of the damn retired snowbirds who are vegetating in all of the campsites for weeks at a time. I think we'll do that next year. After our camp set up,  we drove into Everglades City and had lunch. We have booked a mangrove boat tour tomorrow and a guided kayak trip in a few days. These pics are of the smallest post office in the country and when I accidentally put my arm in an alligators mouth.
