We moved a few hours further west today. The park is on Navajo lake. One side of the lake is New Mexico and the other side is Colorado. We drove over Wolf Creek Pass on the way here. (10,800 ft) The uphill side of the road was 2 lanes so we weren't causing any frustration for the other drivers. When we topped out we pulled over to give the engine a rest. (Pic below) I did my usual exploratory bike ride when we got set up. I rode on a trail that was an old narrow gage railroad that followed the north shoreline. We are only here tonight.
Wow quite a climb for mp2.
