The rain we had last night was pretty epic. Luckily the epic deluge only lasted a few hours and then it settled down into a regular rain storm. The drive here was rainy and foggy. We were on rural Louisiana roads for quite awhile when we first started and they were about as bad as I've ever seen. Interstate 10 is bad in Louisiana but the farm roads are far worse. We had to ride a ferry over to the island. (Pic taken from MP window) Neither one of us were expecting that. Garmen said we had 11 miles to go and it was going to take us 45 minutes. That should have been a clue. We move to Rockport tomorrow.
