Goose Island SP

This place is near Rockport. Part of the park was destroyed by hurricane Harvey and is still closed. We came here hoping to see some Whooping Cranes because some of them overwinter here. We saw 4 of them. Two pairs, they mate for life and tend to hang out together. We weren't too close to either pair but we had binoculars and got a pretty good look. The birds in the pic are white Pelicans. They hang out here in the winter also. That sign was on the entrance to a dock. I had to use the zoom on my camera cause I absolutely didn't want to set foot on his property.
