We are in Meeker Colorado. There was one trail that I found and it went up. I took this pic with Jenny’s camera. She was somewhat leery about giving me her camera but we decided that I shouldn’t be incommunicado in case I had a problem. Probably a good idea because the climb was a killer and the descent was worse. We did laundry in the towns only laundromat. $4/load. We thought that was a little excessive. Tomorrow will be a long day. We are headed for Huntington Ut. There is a state park there and it is near, via a long dirt road, a place I have wanted to visit for awhile. That stop will be the farthest west we go. We have already started our turn to the south. My phone is supposed to be dropped off at the entrance station sometime tomorrow.
Glad your phone is on it's way. Hope lindsey and her family are going to be ok. They expect a storm surge of 8 to 12 feet. Paula is suppose to go visit ed, that trip has been delayed. We are expecting rain. Which we need. Happy traveling you two.
