Lake Powell day 2

Everyone made it to Phoenix and they are spending the night in Flagstaff. It was 106° in Phoenix and 76° in Flagstaff. Staying there was probably a good idea. We had some rain yesterday which produced a bright Rainbow. I rode my bike around the park this afternoon and took those pictures. Those houseboats are privately owned. That's a lot of houseboats. I am somewhat concerned about the wind. The wind has been so strong it is difficult to stand. Securing a 60 foot houseboat to the shore in a strong wind might prove difficult. We are on the boat, in the marina, tomorrow so I should be able to post something. While we're on the boat out in the lake probably not.

  1. Hoping this will bring happy memories for all of you without wind stories. And I thought being stuck in a low water area would be the problem. David and Jenny, y'all seem to always get plenty of challenges. This time you will have help getting out of ...Jams. Fingers crossed, your sister, Paula...ps Pat is having trouble posting and seeing your blog..I will keep her up to date

  2. Looks like lake is down a bit, alot, thought it might be up with the rain. Might need a pretty heavy anchor if wind stays up.
