Magdalena NM

We had a little trouble figuring out where we were going today. I've always wanted to visit The National Radio Astronomy Observatory. I've flown over it a bunch of times. It was used in the movie 'Contact' starring, Jody  Foster. We did a walking tour. Jenny is now an expert on inter stellar electromagnetic radiation. When we left Silver City, we drove past the oldest copper mine in the country, The Santa Rita mine. It's a hole in the ground 1600 feet deep. Our ability to modify our environment is apparently unlimited. We do need copper so holes will be dug.

  1. Sounds like you guys are having fun. I sure wish we had an RV when we did family vacations when I was a kid. I might have enjoyed them more! We miss you guys!!
