Torrey Utah

We started our drive out of Bluff, disconnected. There are a couple of really long, really steep, hills that would have slowed us to a crawl if I was towing the car. Jenny & I kept in touch with walkie-talkies. During the hour we were separated the 'low tire pressure' light came on in the car. The driver side front tire was leaking air. That added to the fun. We got it fixed today. Torrey doesn't have anything approaching a garage but it does have a guy that can do anything. His name is Biggi. 20 bucks. Today we did a 4 hour drive on Hwy 12. It was very cool. We topped out over 9000 feet and 56 degrees. We ate lunch in Boulder Ut. At a resort restaurant that some guy named Zagat liked a lot. Tomorrow we'll go into Capital Reef and spend the day exploring. There appears to be several days worth of new and exciting things to do around here. We might move the MP to a different location or we might not. So many critical decisions to make!

  1. scenery was beautiful, sounds like a nice trip, but water was questionable but sounds like you made the right decision to hike out. I know you are having a great time, it is 90 today, muggy, had air on at seven thirty this morning, usually don't turn it on until noon! Off to town. Have a great one you all. Pat
