We are camped at a commercial place just outside the park entrance. We have finally left the plains and are now in the mountains. The park is at 8300 feet and it's windy, rainy and cold. Feels like winter to us. We've been here once before and we spent that day on the dunes. There are several hikes that stay off the sand that I've wanted to do for awhile. We are hoping a morning hike will avoid the rainy weather.
Is that water or ice in the pic. I am going to Carthage nc to see chole dance go to to a softball game and soccer game all that on Saturday. Hope I survive. Steve will be in charge while I am gone. Pray for all my animals
