Tomorrow we head to Alaska
The banquet/award ceremony was good. The Yukon River Quest is completely a volunteer run organization. We (the competitors) gave them a prolonged standing ovation. Ask Jenny next time you see her about how she recovered after locking the keys in the car. Our trip starts tomorrow with a ferry ride across the Yukon River. It will only hold one RV at a time and there is a group leaving here tomorrow. We are going to try and get out early so that they will be eating our dust instead of us eating theirs.

So glad you got to the ceremony, volunteers do rock!! :) Very proud of you and have a safe trip to Alaska! No, Jenny I won't ask- you rock too- for all that you support! We are headed behind a moving truck to Northern Ca and Idaho this week. Want to hear the stories when we see you in SC. Love you guys!

ReplyDeleteI look forward to your posts everyday :) We, too, are soon headed North to Alaska but our trip will not be near as adventurous as yours. We will continue to live vicariously through you for the extreme! Safe travels. If our paths do not cross we will see you in SC soon.
