Deer Creek day 2

Today we decided to take care of a few things that were going to require a good cell signal. We have 4 bars here. Turns out we are 15 miles away from Park City. When we use GPS to navigate it's hard to see the big picture. Turn here, turn there, exit now, doesn't tell you much. You won't be surprised that we have a few issues with the MP. Nothing serious, just aggravating. We are trying to find a part. The MP's manufacturer won't answer the phone and they won't call back after leaving multiple messages. There were some clues to the manufacturer of the part we needed (the screen door latch) We called multiple companies and finally found what we think is the part we need. Whoopee! The place we're going tomorrow in Idaho sent us a message last month stating that they had some problems with the water in the campground. They wouldn't answer their phone for 3 days. I was literally about to give up and drive there with a full water tank, something I'm loathe to do, when someone answered the phone. Double whoopee! Turns out the campsites have water but the public restrooms and showers are closed. That's no problem. Our drive tomorrow will take us up the Salt Lake valley through SLC. Should be fun. I rode my bike this morning on a trail that was barely hikeable. I had to bail after maybe a mile. I took this pic from the campground. There is one little patch of snow toward the top of that peak.

  1. What a view. Finally got 1.5 inches rain. Yippee. Paula go nada, she is only six miles away. A bike trail you had trouble with. Must have been pretty bad
