Yellowstone NP day 3

We did the entire southern loop road today. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is on that loop. There are a number of overlooks of the canyon and the falls. We were there for a few hours and hiked to several of the overlooks. One trail descended steeply via about a dozen switchbacks to the top of the falls. Awe inspiring and spectacular are words that come to mind. The kids head back to Boseman tomorrow but they have a couple of things planned tomorrow morning before they depart. Jenny and I will participate in one of them. More on that tomorrow.
