There was no chance of falling asleep on today's drive. Parts of it were hair raising. We drove through Durango, Silverton, Ouray and Montrose, over 4 high passes, 2 over 10,000 feet. The MP 2 was struggling a bit but she held together. We have nothing planned for our 2 night stay here. I booked 2 nights so that we would be through the weekend when we left. We pulled over a few times to take in the scenery. See pics.
