Hammocks Beach SP

This place was about an hour from Paula's house. The weather was primo but the tide was as low as it was going to get so our plans were difficult or impossible. The park is a barrier island only accessible by boat. There is a ferry that runs fairly frequently so there were quite a few persons of interest on the beach. We have another paddle trip in the works for tomorrow. Paula has recently completed the requirements to become a Master Gardener. Here's a tip: if you want pollinators to visit your garden you should plant a 'Short Tooth Mountain Mint' its like catnip for bees and wasps. Thank me later.
