Saltwater rafting

When it comes to vacation one upmanship Jenny and I did something that will be hard for anyone to top. We went to a Super Wal-Mart in Truro Nova Scotia. That was after we rode the chaotic maelstrom that the Shubbie river became during the incoming tide. We followed the tide as it careened up stream. Wave trains formed and dissipated as the out going current was overwhelmed by the incoming tide. The zodiac we were in was pointed skyward some of the time as our trusty guide, a petite 20 somthing, steered us into the largest swell. Tomorrow we begin our 2800 mile journey to Washington.

  1. Wow, that's a lot of mud. Did you throw your clothes away, or did you wash them in a machine by themselves. How come you don't have a picture of twenty something, or whatever her name was? Long trip coming up, looking forward to your adventures.
